General Use The Advanced Search provides the web user with a way to better narrow down their search. Each part of the advanced search, List one, List two and Keywords is optional. You may only choose to use one, two or all three search criteria areas.
List One List One is a list of key areas relating to Nomad and mobile working. These areas are:
Research
Case Studies
Business Case
Technology
Integration
Organisational Change
By clicking on any of these, you are narrowing down your area of search to those area(s) selected. You do not have to select any of these, or you may choose to select one or more - it is your choice.
List Two List Two is a more specific set of search criteria relating to the products from the Nomad project. By selecting any of these, the user will be narrowing their search to more specific areas of the website and products. You do not have to select any of these, or you may choose to select one or more - it is your choice. You can select more than one option by holding down your Ctrl key and clicking on each item you wish to search by.
Keyword(s) The keywords box is free text. Type in what you may be looking for and the search engine will look for those items relating to your keyword(s). You can enter more than one keyword by typing each in and seperating with a comma.
Keyword Example: You may wish to search for PDAs and Laptops.
Type PDA, Laptop in the keyword box and click enter.
Combination Search To narrow your search results down, use a combination of the Advanced Search options to help.
Combination Search Example One: You may wish to locate information on the costs involved with providing staff with vehicles for mobile working.
From List One, you might select Organisational Change
From List Two, you might select Human Resources and People Management
In the Keyword(s) box, you might type: vehicle, staff, costs
Your search has been sufficiently narrowed down to produce a small number of results that may best answer your enquiries.
