Capita Mobile SolutionsCapita Mobile Solutions has over 50 local authority customers ranging from large London Borough’s to small District Councils. We provide mobile solutions which support staff operating in diverse geographical areas from large cities and towns to remote rural locations.

Capita are the strategic partner for a number of local authorities, including Birmingham City Council, London Borough of Harrow and Mendip District Council.

Through the partnership Capita support councils in achieving their business and service transformation programmes. Within each of these programmes mobile working is seen as a key enabler to achieving this challenge. Within the Software Services division there are over 500 installations of our back office systems which support key business processes such as Revenues and Benefits, Housing and Payment Management.

Capita provide a mobile capability to provide staff with access to these systems whilst out in the field. This not only improves service but also allows the council to address key issues such as pressures on office accommodation and work life balance issues for staff.
